I have been lucky to work with brilliant grad students over the years. Following are the PhD alums who were trained and mentored in my lab, ordered by relative recency of alum status:

Sean Weeks was a doctoral student in our lab at USU, graduating with a School Psychology PhD in 2023. Sean completed predoctoral internship at Rutgers University Behavioral Healthcare in NJ. He is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow with the U-TTEC Lab in the School Psychology Program at the University of Utah. 

John Barr was a doctoral student in our lab at USU from 2018–2021, after which he transferred to the Combined Clinical/Counseling PhD program at USU. Next year, John will be completing predoctoral internship at the University of Utah’s Counseling Center in Salt Lake City, UT. 

Shelley Upton was a PhD student in our lab at Louisiana State University from 2015–2017. When I moved to USU in January 2018, she stayed at LSU. Shelley completed a predoctoral internship with the Mary A. Rackham Institute at the University of Michigan and got a School Psychology PhD from LSU in 2020. She worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow and Clinical Assistant Professor at USU for a few years and now works in a private practice in Chicago, IL. 

Tony Roberson was a PhD student in our lab at LSU from 2014–2017. When I moved to USU in January 2018, he stayed at LSU. Tony completed a predoctoral internship with Devereux Children's Behavioral Health Services in Pennsylvania and got a School Psychology PhD from LSU in 2019. He did post-doctoral training while working as a School Psychologist with Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District in TX. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical, Health, and Applied Sciences at the University of Houston–Clear Lake. 

Sarah Bolognino was a PhD student in our lab at LSU from 2013–2017. When I moved to USU in January 2018, she was already off on predoctoral internship. Sarah completed internship with the Sarah A. Reed Children's Center in Pennsylvania and got a School Psychology PhD from LSU in 2018. She currently works as a school psychologist with the Guilderland Central School District in NY as well as a private-practice psychologist with Capital Psychology in NY. 

Kelsie Hammons was a PhD student in our lab at LSU from 204–2016, after which she transferred to a social work program in Arkansas. She is currently a licensed clinical social worker who practices as a perinatal mental health therapist in a private practice in Little Rock, AR.
