Grad Alums

I've been lucky to work with great grad students over the years.

Here are the grad alums who spent time working with me and my lab, ordered by relative recency. So far, there are 5.

John Barr was an EdS/PhD student in my lab at USU from 2018–2022. His growing professional interests eventually took him away from school psychology. John transferred to the combined Clinical & Counseling Psychology PhD Program at USU in Fall 2022. He is interested in teaching and supervising psychology, acceptance and commitment therapy, and somatic symptom disorders, among other things.

Shelley Upton was a PhD student in my lab at Louisiana State University from from 2015–2017. When I moved to USU in January 2018, she stayed at LSU. Shelley completed a predoctoral internship with the Mary A. Rackham Institute at the University of Michigan and got a School Psychology PhD from LSU in 2020. Shelley worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at USU for a couple years and is now a Clinical Assistant Professor with the Psychology Department here at USU.
